Congratulations, you have created a document with Minodor, now it’s time for you to optimize it for SEO.
Menu
Let’s start by understanding the different menus.
On the red square, you can see the menus.
They are six menus:
- Overview: You can check the details about your SEO score and you can get information on how to improve it.
- Outline: You can check your competitors’ outline and paraphrase your competitors’ text.
- Links: You can check the external links used by your competitors.
- Images: You can add images from Unsplash.
- Meta: You can check, modify and generate your meta description.
- Help: You can find tutorials about how to optimize your article for SEO.
You just have to click on a menu to be redirected to it.
In this article when we are speaking about competitors, we are talking about the ten websites ranking on the first position in Google for your target keyword.
Overview
The Overview (see the red square on the image above) is displayed when the”OVERVIEW” menu is active.
You can see the different criteria that determine your SEO score. You can click on each elements to get more details.
- Word count: We recommend to have at least 1500 words per article.
- Links: We recommend to add at least 3 internal links (links that point to another page on your website) and 3 external links (links that point to a pages that is not in your website) -> You can check the menu “Links” for getting the external links used by your competitors.
- Heading structure: We recommend to respect the heading structure. The heading 2 title should be inserted after an heading 1 or heading 2 title. The heading 3 titles should be inserted after an heading 2 or and heading 3. The heading 4 titles should be inserted after an heading 3 titles or an heading 4 titles.
- Keyword density: We recommend to use your target keyword between 1% and 3%.
- Keyword position: We recommend to use your target keyword in the heading 1, in one of the heading 2, within the first 100 words of your article.
- Improve text clarity: We recommend to use at least three lists and to have at least 3 words in bold in your article.
- Add images: We recommend to add at least three images in your article.
- Add headings: We recommend to have at least six headings in your article.
Your score for each criterion is between 0 and 100.
- Your criterion is green: it means your score for this criterion is between 75 and 100.
- Your criterion is green: it means your score for this criterion is between 25 and 75.
- Your criterion is red: it means your score for this criterion is between 0 and 25.
Outline
The outline of your competitors (see the red square on the image above) is displayed when the “OUTLINE” menu is active.
This section contains:
- Urls of your competitors: you can click on the chevron icon “^” for hiding or displaying all the headings used by your competitor on his webpage.
- Headings: You can click on the chevron icon “^” for hiding or displaying the text associated.
- Paragraphs associate to the heading: You can know what your competitor write about a specific topic.
- Paraphrase button: You can click on the paraphrase button to paraphrase the title and text and add it to our document. The text will be added at your last cursor position on your text editor.
Links
The links detail (see the red square on the image above) is displayed when the”LINKS” menu is active.
The links detail contains:
- The external links used by your competitors (You can click on this link to be redirected to the external link).
- The number of competitor that used this external link.
- The copy Icon, you can click on it to add this external link in your document. The external link will be added at your last. cursor position on your text editor. So please click on the position in your text editor and then click on the copy icon.
Images
The image search (see the red square on the image above) is displayed when the”IMAGES” menu is active.
You can insert “words” in the text input and then press enter or click on the glass icon to displayed 10 images related to your words inserted.
You can click on an image to add at your last cursor position in your text document. So please click on the position in your text editor and then click on the image.
Meta
The “Meta Description” section (see the red square on the image above) is displayed when the”META” menu is active.
This section contains:
- Input text: You can see your current meta description and modify it.
- Generate button: It will delete your current meta description and replace it by a new generated one.
- Save button: It will save your current meta description.
Prompt
At the bottom of your article, you can write any prompt, example “write a paragraph about ‘What is SEO'” and then press enter or click on the paperplane icon.
Our algorithm will execute your prompt and write the answer in your text editor at your last cursor position.
